Please do not stop taking aerial view images. However, close-ups usually get a greater interest. Ask yourself: Do I have to include everything that I see in this picture? Will I be removing important elements if I zoom in or move closer? The answer is almost always no!
The image will change if you zoom in or move the camera. By physically moving closer, the foreground will become relatively larger compared to the background. When taking facial images you should move closer than 1-1,5 meters. If you do that the nose will appear larger whilst the ears appear smaller. Instead, try to use the zoom so that the face takes up as much of the image as you would like it to.
